Push back rack allows the storage of pallets 2 to to 5 deep depending on the system design. The use of push back rack allows the dense storage of product pallets with reduced aisles. The secret to push back rack are the nested carts on inclined rails which allow pallets to be placed on them and moved back into the system when another pallet is placed in front of the cart. When a pallet is removed from the system the cart behind moves forward to fill the vacated space to allow for removal.
